- Documents are encrypted with AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.2+ in transit, and every transmission is logged.
- Sent fax documents are kept for 365 days and received faxes for 365 days, then deleted automatically, as set out in the Terms of Service.
- The service is paid for by the people who send faxes, so there are no ads and your data is never sold — the privacy promise spells that out.

Creating an account costs nothing, but every fax is paid for. That is the business model, and it is why there is no advertising and no data brokering.

Sending is pay-as-you-go. Optional monthly plans cancel any time, and a dedicated number can be released at any time — billing stops the same day.
